A simple, sweet side dish that appeals to both children and adults. Pea shoots are tender and cook quickly.
1 5.18 ounce package Jade™ Dau Miu or your favorite Jade™ item
1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon Oyster Sauce
- Rinse Dau Miu thoroughly in cold water and lightly drain.
- In a large wok or skillet over high heat, heat oils and add ginger and garlic. Toss and add Dau Miu. Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the leaves soften and are tender. Remove shoots and place on serving dish.
- Reduce the remaining liquid and pour over shoots.
Note: Add Chinese sausage or bacon for additional flavor and texture.
