Sautéed Shrimp and Baby Bok Choy with Spicy Ginger Teriyaki

Baby Bok Choy pairs well with seafood, especially this spicy teriyaki
Serves: 2

Ingredients

1 (6.3 oz.) package, Jade Baby Bok Choy, cut in halves
2 oz. Vegetable oil
4 oz. Ginger
Pinch of Chili Flakes (to desired heat)
6 oz. Teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup Rice wine
1 lb. Shrimp (size 13/15, clean and peeled)
Ground black peppercorns, to taste
Green onions, sliced
Cilantro

Preparation

  1. In a sauté pan add vegetable oil and sauté ginger.
  2. Add in shrimp and continue to sauté until the shrimp is half cooked.
  3. Then add in the Bok Choy and continue to sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Deglaze with rice wine and let alcohol burn out.
  5. Add in chili flakes, teriyaki sauce with ground peppercorns. Incorporate well for 1 minute and garnish with green onions and cilantro.
