Stir-Fried Gai Lan

Quick and Easy - A simple way to jazz up Chinese broccoli.

1 6.3 ounce package Jade™ Gai Lan or your favorite Jade™ item
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon minced ginger
2 tablespoons dark soy sauce, mixed with a half cup water


  1. Trim stalks of gai lan and rinse to clean.
  2. Heat a wok over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon cooking oil and swirl to coat pan. Add gai lan, stirring for one minute.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, stir to combine. Add the soy mixture, cover, reduce heat to medium low for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Uncover and stir. Check stalks to make sure they are tender. If still tough, add a bit more water, cover and cook for another minute.
  5. Taste, add more soy if needed. Turn onto plate and serve immediately.
